The Swing

One of our first purchases for our daughter was our Boppy swing. We bought it online at Walmart. It was portable and pink. I was so impressed that my son had loved his swing, that I just knew Milly would love hers. I could not wait to put her in it. Not so. She was not a swing baby. Here are some facts about it anyway!

It does have a reclining seat which works as the baby grows.

It has a comfortable removable head support.

It plays music and has several speeds.

Has removable toy bar.

It is pretty, and everything is removable and washable.

The battery pack is positioned underneath the side bar, and tends to succomb to the force of gravity. In other words, it falls out all the time!

The swing is like laying your baby in a sack. The baby cannot really sit up and see around too well. If you have an independent baby like mine, who wants to see what's going on in the house, that doesn't work too well.

The swing is portable, but is hard to move. You have to pick it up with both hands, by the sides. I don't know how many people grabbed it by the toy bar, and of course the toy bar pops right off.

Again, my Milly was not one to like our swing. I don't know if it was the style of swing, or just her. I like this swing, but would think about purchasing a full size swing if I had it to do all over again.

I give this swing 3 stars. ***
