Inventions & Inventors

Inventions (by OHC) is a unit study with a TON of links, activities, and printables.  This unit would definitely complement a study of inventions and inventors.  In fact, it made me wish we could incorporate it this year in our homeschool, but we're doing world history, so maybe next year...

Anyway, the unit begins with objectives and assessment ideas, followed by about three pages of links.  There are links to reading materials, printables, lesson plans, and even videos.  There are probably 30 -40 links per page! The unit also includes lapbook materials including a timeline.  There are 22 pages in this unit.

It is plainly stated that this is not a comprehensive unit, but is meant to enhance learning of the subject area.  It will be handy having all the links ready and available, and not wasting valuable time searching the internet for them.  Of course, anything with lapbook printables is always a hit at our house.  We love making lapbooks!

So, if you’re looking for a complementary unit that is full of informational links and lapbook printables!  Inventions & Inventors is for you!
