Planet Explorers: Chicago

Laura Schaefer, an accomplished author, has written a series of books called Planet Explorers. These books highlight some attractions and facts about the city you choose, and are geared toward kids ages 8 through 12. The books are available for download  for only $2.99 each. We were excited to get the Chicago book to review.

Planet Explorers: Chicago is a 43 page ebook with some amazing photographs of the city. The study begins with some interesting facts about the city such as famous people from Chicago, as well as events held in the city. This is followed by a timeline that begins back in the 1700s. Each page following the timeline includes information about an interesting place in Chicago, and suggested activities to try while in town.

The ebook even includes a map of downtown Chicago and travel tips for optimal enjoyment of the city. There is a list of Chicago websites to explore, as well as a quiz to complete.

This would be a great book to take along on your trip to Chicago, and is ideal for your Nook, iPad, Kindle, or smartphone!  You can download the book to your device at Smashwords. Check out some of the links below!

I received this eBook free to review. All opinions expressed are my own!
