Thanksgiving Units

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is seemingly forgotten by the media, swallowed up by Halloween, and overtaken by Christmas decorations, but I love Thanksgiving because it simple, and reminds us of our Christian heritage!
There are some great resources out there for Thanksgiving. We are doing some web quests, research, crafts, and  more to celebrate the holiday and learn more about it.  We only have two school days scheduled for this week, so this is a much needed break from our curriculum. Check out some of the resources we are using!

Scholastic
This is really a comprehensive site with videos, interactive screens, information, and webquests. My favorite so far!

CurrClick
Lots of units to choose from. You can sort them according to price and there are a ton of free ones also!

Amanda Bennett
I've never used any of her units, but they look really neat. The Thanksgiving unit is nearly $11, but I'm thinking it would be worth it with all the stuff you get.

DLTK Crafts
Simple, easy to do crafts that remind us of Thanksgiving! We are doing the "give thanks pilgrims" this week!

We are reading these books!

Hubbard's Cupboard
Lots of neat, simple songs, poems, crafts, and more!

Have you found some amazing Thanksgiving resources to share?
