Weekly Highlights: June Bugaroos

In the family...

So, these are the many faces of Caleb.  You will notice his goatie and mustache are once again visible. What can I say?  Exciting stuff this week...the growth of hair.

Jellyfish had two ballgames and won them both!  He looks so cute in his uniform (don't tell him, though)!
Millie has had an exciting week too. She tried to convince us she was an angel!  She spent a lot of time putting straws into a bottle, then dumping them out and doing it all over again. And, as always, she put on a show, and made us all laugh!

My mom, sister-in-law, myself, and the four kids went shopping on Monday.  We only hit three stores, but wore ourselves out quick.  I did get to visit my favorite store, Hobby Lobby.  I could spend all day in there (and all of my husband's paycheck), so it's a good thing I don't get to go very often.

In the news...
  • the oil spill in the gulf is taking precedence over most other stories, as they try to stop the leak.
  • Al & Tipper Gore are getting divorced after like 40 years of marriage.
  • Gary Coleman and Rue McClanahan died this week.
  • Gas is about $2.44 a gallon.
In our Lives...
  • Psalm 91: God is my refuge!
  • I Cor. 4:8-16: Keep your head up and have faith!
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of faith...we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Until next time,
