Safe Research Links for Kids

My son is old enough that he is doing lots of papers, reports, and other projects that require lots of research. I just don't feel safe letting him search Google or any other search engine unless I'm standing right over him....because I don't want him to get too much education...if ya know what I mean. It's so easy to pull up a bad image or website. It's also easy to download a virus before you even realize it!

Here are some sites that he uses that make me feel a little better about him using the internet:

I feel much safer knowing my kids are using these browsers to do their searching!

BBQ Meatballs

We stay at home moms have plenty of time.....we cook everything from scratch, bake lots of pies, and have spotless homes. Yeah, Right!

I get so tired of having the SAME meals over and over. I'm always looking for a new, EASY recipe. It seems like I have no time for anything.

So, this is my favorite tasty, versatile, EASY recipe.

BBQ Meatloaves

  • 1 1/2 lbs. of Ground Chuck
  • 1 cup finely chopped bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbl. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup any BBQ sauce
Combine first 6 ingredients. Shape into 6 loaves; place on rack of greased broiler pan. Spoon BBQ sauce over loaves. Bake at 450 for 25 minutes!

You can make the loaves into meatballs instead of loaves. Baking time is about the same. You can use Spaghetti sauce instead of BBQ, add some hoagie buns and you have Meatball Subs!  Love this recipe!
