Being an anti-glitter person, I tried to show my Christmas spirit by letting Millie use glitter. I regretted this decision later when I was cleaning up the mess, but she had a lot of fun. Here are some of our glitter birds:

We did birds, a gingerbread man, hearts, and candy canes. The angel ornament is done with an old-fashioned clothes pins (available at most craft stores), pipe cleaners, coffee filters, and glitter. It was fun and you can see the final result! I really hope to one day have enough to do an entire tree with homemade ornaments.

Jellyfish even helped sew around the edges of our ornaments, which is a great skill for anyone to learn. If you have a Cameo, you can download all of these templates at their online store. We finished off the afternoon with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
Here is a wide view of our tree right after we got it up.
What kind of ornaments are you making this Christmas?

So cute!!! Thank you so much for showing us!
I'm sure your kids loved that and were so excited to see their own ornaments each time they looked at the tree!
